Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms" ) constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Rask-D Technology ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the DocExtractor website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

2. Description of Service

DocExtractor provides an automated software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows users to upload documents and extract structured data from them. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
• Promptly notify us if you discover or suspect any security breaches.
• Be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for the legality of the documents you upload.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Upload or process any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including the laws of Rwanda.
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or engage in any activity that disrupts, diminishes the quality of, or interferes with the performance of the Services.

5. Fees, Payment, and Subscriptions

Certain aspects of the Services may be provided for a fee. You agree to pay all applicable fees for the subscription plan you select. All payments are handled by a secure third-party payment processor. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle unless you cancel your subscription through your account settings before the renewal date.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

We own all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all associated intellectual property rights. You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload ("User Content"). By using the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. You may cancel your account at any time through your account dashboard.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL RASK-D TECHNOLOGY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Kigali, Rwanda.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
